The Universidad Politécnica Estatal del Carchi, will organize the "1st International Conference on Applied and Computational Mathematics" in collaboration with Scielo on April 27 and 28, 2023. This two-day international conference will be held in hybrid mode (virtual+physical) in the historical, beautiful, and sporty city of Tulcan, Ecuador. Experts in the field will be invited to deliver their keynotes, speeches, session talks, panel discussions, contributed lectures and a student forum will be set up for poster presentations related to the conference themes. This conference will offer representatives from academia, researchers, students, industrialists, engineers, scientists, practitioners, policy makers, investors and other interested parties the opportunity to review recent advances in areas related to mathematical and computational sciences applied to the local development of a region. The conference covers many topics in different fields such as mathematical optimization, software development for process modeling, artificial intelligence, mathematical modeling for human-machine integration, intelligent networks, expert systems, signal and image processing, embedded systems, cryptographic networks and security, the Internet of things-big data-software engineering and agile development linked to mathematical modeling.
